A habit tracker that lives in your calendar
In Cutline a habit is a block that repeats in your week: the gym at 07:00, reading at 21:00, two hours of study every weekday. When you tick it, it counts toward your XP and cleared days, so your habits and your schedule are the same thing.
Why put habits in the calendar
Separate habit apps ask "did you read today?" after the fact. A habit that has a time in your week gets done far more often, because the decision about when is already made.
- The habit has a slot. "Read 30 min daily at 21" is a block every evening, not a hope.
- It competes honestly. If your week has no room for the gym, you see it while planning, not three weeks later.
- One place to tick. Ticking the block is the check-in. No second app.
What you can see
- Cleared days: a day where every block is done is stamped Cleared on its day card.
- Your week by category: finished hours of gym, learning, deep work, sales and content.
- Activity over time: the Pulse panel at the top of the Grid shows how your weeks have gone.
Habits that work well as blocks
| Habit | A block that works |
|---|---|
| Training | Gym 4x at 7, 1 hour |
| Reading | Read 30 min daily at 21 |
| Deep work | Deep work 3h every weekday at 8 |
| Language practice | Practice 20 min daily at 12:30 |
| Outreach | Cold DMs 1h every weekday at 9 |
| Walks | Walk without phone 30 min daily at 13 |
Type any of these into the week builder, or start from Monk Mode, a template built around four daily habits.
Questions
Is there a streak counter?
Cutline tracks cleared days (days where every block was finished) and your finished hours per week. Missing a day never removes XP you already earned.
Can I track habits without a set time?
Every block in Cutline has a time, on purpose: a habit with a time slot gets done more often. Pick a realistic time and move the block if your day changes.
